Imagine being a person who has to lie about being the target of xenophobia. That individual is obviously craving to be a victim so that he or she can claim victimhood status and garner enough currency to wave in the mainstream media.
Well, a Democratic lawmaker has ostensibly become Jussie Smollett 2.0.
Last week, Georgia State Representative Erica Thomas claimed on Twitter that she returned from the supermarket after being told “to go back where you came from” by a man named Eric Sparkes.
She tweeted:
“Today I was verbally assaulted in the grocery store by a white man who told me I was a lazy SOB and to go back to where I came from bc I had to many items in the express lane. My husband wasn’t there to defend me because he is on Active Duty serving the country I came from USA!”
She doubled down on her comments and said:
“This white man comes up to me and says, ‘You lazy son of b**ch. You need to go back where you came from.’ Sir, you don’t even know me. I’m not lazy. I’m nine months pregnant.”
The man, a Cuban and lifelong anti-Trump Democrat, denied saying anything of that nature.
But not even a week has gone by and Thomas has already changed her tune.
“I don’t want to say he said ‘go back to your country’ or ‘go back to where you came from,’ but he was making those types of references is what I remember,” she said.
Oh, boy…
This is what happens when the demand for racism strips supply.
The real story is perhaps her being in an express lane with too many items. Why do people do that? If it clearly states 1-12, then why bring 15?
