Well, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is probably relieved that the fierce and spirited Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) failed to make the next Democratic debate in September.
And, you know what? That sucks.
Gabbard isn’t the only one. Marianne “Dark Psychic Force” Williamson failed to make the cut. Ditto for paranoid billionaire Tom Steyer.
It seems like the Democratic National Committee (DNC) feared that Gabbard’s strong non-interventionist stance would make the other hawkish candidates look bad. The DNC was probably concerned about being embarrassed by Williamson. And perhaps the DNC thought Steyer would spend three hours talking about impeachment.
But is Gabbard getting the Bernie Sanders treatment?
From The Blaze:
At issue is whether or not Gabbard — who, as a member of the Hawaii National Guard, recently returned from a two-week deployment to Indonesia — meets the debate qualifications, which the DNC set to slowly crop the field of candidates. For the upcoming debate, candidates needed to secure donations from 130,000 unique donors and register at least 2 percent of support in four DNC-approved polls.
Gabbard has registered at least 2 percent of support in only two DNC-approved polls, despite generating as much or more support in 26 total reputable polls, her campaign says, some of which are more accurate than the DNC-approved surveys.
“Rep. Gabbard has exceeded 2% support in 26 national and early state polls, but only two of them are on the DNC’s ‘certified’ list. Many of the uncertified polls, including those conducted by highly reputable organizations such as The Economist and the Boston Globe, are ranked by RealClearPolitics and FiveThirtyEight as more accurate than some DNC ‘certified’ polls,” the campaign told the Examiner.
In fact, as RCP noted, Gabbard has registered at least 2 percent of support in polls that the most widely circulated newspapers in New Hampshire and South Carolina endorse, an important fact given the early significance those states play in the primary. Yet the DNC, for reasons unknown, does not consider those polls “qualified.”
Gabbard and John Hickenlooper were the only likeable and realistic candidates on those debate stages.
It makes sense why they didn’t get far. Gabbard wanted to end the wars and Hickenlooper wasn’t promising free stuff for all.

Your final two paragraphs answered your main question.
She was blackballed because:
1. She wanted to end the foreign military excursions;
2. She wanted to audit the Federal Reserve;
3. She showed the fraud that is Kamala Harris;
4. She is charming and doesn’t have the arrogance that is Bernie Sanders.
There may be a few other reasons that I’m missing, but it’s early in the morning. By evening, I may have a few more to add.
I would also add that John Delaney should also have qualified based upon his message, but the Democrats are against those whose messages are about nation first. I guess they think that means Nationalism, which has been one of their biggest criticisms of President Trump.
