In the words of legendary baseball player Dennis Eckersley: Yuck.
Speaking in an interview with ABC News, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) revealed that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) would play a key role in his administration. It may go as far as – get this – a “Cabinet-level” position.
Yikes.
“I happen to believe that the future of this country depends on young people becoming increasingly involved in the political process and there’s nobody I know that can do a better job inspiring young people than Alexandria,” he said.
“If I’m in the White House, she will play a very, very important role. No question. One way or another, absolutely.”
AOC’s endorsement of Sanders has been interesting because she and her ilk have spent most of their time bashing straight white males and Jews. Yet, she chose to endorse Sanders over a black woman (Kamala Harris), a Native American woman (Elizabeth Warren), and a Samoan American woman (Tulsi Gabbard).
She has only played a tremendous influence in U.S. politics because of how much of an embarrassment she is. That is why AOC refuses to go on any news program that may be right of MSNBC. After her appearance on Firing Line, AOC will pretty much only appear on networks that sympathize with her socialist cause.
