What’s with millionaires and billionaires who became successful because of capitalism slamming the very system that allowed them to sell their labor and become rich? It’s cringe-worthy whenever some celebrity or businessman whines about free markets because they want to appear woke.
On Sunday, Mark Ruffalo, the actor who played a CGI hulk and who starred in “13 Going On 30,” sent out this tweet:
“It’s time for an economic revolution. Capitalism today is failing us, killing us, and robbing from our children’s future.”
This is coming from a guy who is worth $30 million.
If you check out the thread, it is amazing to see the pushback he got. Put simply, Ruffalo got ratioed.
Here are a couple of them.:

There are 18.6 millionaires in America. 3.5% unemployment, 3% wage growth and a stock market …
Mark is a guy without a formal education, from Wisconsin, who has an estimated wealth of $30M. America is a perfect example of a system that provides opportunity for masses. pic.twitter.com/FD8dhj8qEe— The Doctor (@TennantRob) December 1, 2019
Says the guy that makes millions from capitalism in an industry that wastes energy, shops for tax incentive cities to film in, hires non-union subcontractors, sues everyone for digital rights, and then pretends it cares. 🤦🏻♂️ pic.twitter.com/2d3rOXJm72
