The longer Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) stays in the primary race, the more she will be exposed as nothing more than a progressive fraud. The fact that Warren got away with posing as a Native American for much of her career, it is quite likely that the media will give Warren a pass on the latest boondoggle.
On Sunday, the Warren campaign released a list of cases that she worked on during her consulting career. The cases consisted of everything from tort to class action cases. One case is causing a kerfuffle.
According to SFGate, a memo written on a Harvard Law School letterhead in the 1990s portrays Warren as someone who defends Corporate America and goes against the very people she is supposed to protect.
She wrote that the corporation should do whatever it can to avoid litigation on environmental concerns so it can “maximize its returns to its unpaid creditors and to survive as an employer.”
“Environmental claims, product liability claims, and mass tort claims, for which we have currently only seen the tip of the iceberg, are multiplying against American businesses,” Warren wrote.
The senator added that it would help her client to locate another business to blame the anticipated environmental problems on so it would not be required to pay any cleanup costs.
Wow.
SFGate reports:
“Warren was not arguing on behalf of vulnerable families, nor was she offering the sort of stinging rebuke of corporate greed that would later define her political career. Rather, Warren was representing a large development company that was trying to avoid having to clean up a toxic waste site.”
In other words, she is a hypocrite.
You have to give it to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) because he has at least been consistent in his socialist nonsense.
