The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit an intraday record high on Tuesday, topping 29,000. At 1:35 p.m. EST, the Dow Jones reached 29,051.72. The leading index pared its gains, falling down to 28,938.52. Still, the Dow ended the session up more than 31 points.
