Buy the dip?
It looks like the classic adage may be paying dividends on Monday as the U.S. stock market appears to be rebounding.
Here is what investors are looking at on Monday:
Despite the coronavirus appearing to be getting worse, traders are betting on central banks to cut interest rates. It might not be a vaccine, but it might offer some reprieve for the multi-trillion-dollar loss from last week.
Coronavirus stocks, however, are a bit more subdued to kick off the trading week. Most of the biotech and shares of 3M, Alpha Pro Tech, and Lakeland are flat or in the red. You are probably kicking yourself that you didn’t buy these companies last Monday!
But a wait minute. Should you buy the dip in coronavirus stocks, too? It would depend on the fundamentals of each company since most of them were mere speculative pump and dump plays.
O, what a tangled web we weave.
