The Counterfeit News Network thinks it got President Donald Trump again. Instead the fact-checkers failed.
Here is what happened: President Trump appeared on Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity to talk about the coronavirus, his administration’s plans, and the 2020 election. This is what he had to say about Covid-19:
“Because a lot of people will have this and it’s very mild. … So if, you know, we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by you know, sitting around and even going to work, some of them go to work, but they get better.”
This is what CNN wrote: “Trump is once again denying saying somthing he did indeed say, and this time it’s something about coronavirus.”
President Trump tweeted:
“I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work. This is just more Fake News and disinformation put out by the Democrats, in particular MSDNC. Comcast covers the CoronaVirus situation horribly, only looking to do harm to the incredible & successful effort being made!”
What’s the verdict? Trump is right. He never said people should go to work ill. Instead, he noted that a lot of people get better, even if they sit at work.
Oh, CNN.
