If there is one primary issue in the way the Trump administration is handling the coronavirus situation it’s the lack of clarity and consistency.
In January, a vaccine was apparently in development and everything was going to be fine. By February, the U.S. was supposed to have a few cases and then just come to a conclusion. By March, the world is coming to an end, but don’t worry just yet!
Dr. Anthony Fauci has been a mixed bag in this affair, seesawing between doomsday and bliss. Though, his confrontation with the press has been enjoyable to watch.
His latest message is that as many as 200,000 Americans could die from the Wuhan coronavirus. Based on his past remarks, this estimate could change in the coming days.
The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases warned that the nation could witness millions of Americans get infected and between 100,000 and 200,000 people die.
But Fauci has not been one who has been clear in his communications with the public.
Take a look at this compilation of Fauci’s mixed messaging.
