Have the daily press briefings held by President Donald Trump become superfluous at this point? While the president is obviously enjoying himself (the other day it was two hours long!), journalists are ruining the integrity of their profession – if there is any left – after every media event.
The press briefings have gone from coronavirus-related questions to questions about Joe Exotic, Chinese food, and Trump’s self-rating. It is a sideshow.
