If the government cannot even extend unemployment benefits, how can the government be in charge of anything else the left wants to bestow upon the state?
According to a new study by the Economic Policy Institute (EPI), millions of jobless Americans have been unable to access unemployment benefits since the U.S. economy endured the wrath of the Wuhan Coronavirus.
The EPI poll discovered that as many as 13.9 million people have been shut out of the system. It should be noted that more than 26 million Americans have been without work.
“This study validates the anecdotes and news reports we’re seeing about people having trouble filing for benefits they need and deserve,” said Ben Zipperer, the study’s lead author.
“It’s almost set up to fail. It was made complicated so people would get discouraged and give up.”
It makes sense that about two percent did not apply because the application process was too hard.
