Does anyone remember that pandemic that dominated the headlines last week? COVID-19 has ostensibly vanished after a disgusting police officer and his gang of misfits allegedly murdered a man in custody.
With the coronavirus gone, here are some questions:
Does anyone remember the frontline workers who cried about people protesting the lockdown because it was disrespectful to the medical providers?
Does anyone remember that nurse standing on the street in front of a car that was protesting the shutdown?
And yet, health care workers are standing outside their hospitals applauding the thousands who are violating social distancing guidelines.
Does anyone remember the media pearl-clutching about beachgoers who were not practicing social distancing?
Does anyone remember the press warning about dead grandmothers if you went to get a hair cut?
And yet, the media is silent about the tens of thousands of rioters, looters, and protesters ignoring the public health crisis.
Does anyone remember the politicians demanding that dissenters bow down to their COVID-19 decrees?
Does anyone remember mayors threatening to arrest people if they dared violate their orders?
And yet, many politicians are instead applauding people who are violating those same orders.
Joe Schaeffer at Liberty Nation eloquently summarized the situation: “Don’t expect to hear these same people decrying George Floyd protesters as selfish ingrates whose actions may kill innocent people. But it will be interesting to see how long bullying Democrat governors and mayors will attempt to continue to crack down on little old ladies going to church amid the ashes of their riot-scarred fiefdoms.”
