He removes an inconsequential tariff, but doesn’t pardon Edward Snowden? What the heck?
In one of his final acts in the White House, former President Donald Trump removed the ten percent tariff on the United Arab Emirates’ aluminum exports.
The White House announced the policy change just a couple of hours before President Joe Biden took the oath of office.
The change, which switches to a quota, will go into effect on February 3.
Meanwhile, the aluminum tariffs on China and other European countries remain in place.
