Bidenflation is running wild on America.
The United States annual inflation rate surged 6.2 percent in October, the fastest pace in more than three decades.
The market had penciled in a reading of 5.8 percent.
This is up from the previous figure of 5.4%.
On a month-over-month basis, the consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.9 percent, double from the previous month.
The core inflation rate, which strips the volatile food and energy sectors, climbed 4.6 percent last month.
