Many might frown at the concept of giving cash as a gift for Christmas.

But this is nonsense.

Cash is the greatest present you can gift because the utility is determined by the recipient rather than the giver.

So, instead of giving someone a $50 Christmas sweater, the recipient can choose what to do with that $50.

And it seems more Americans agree!
