It has been a month since Silicon Valley Bank, the home to tech bros, executives, and businesses, collapsed.
Ditto for Signature Bank.
The volume of uninsured deposits made these two financial institutions prone to failure.
But what other banks maintain enormous amounts of uninsured deposits?
Visual Capitalist’s Dorothy Neufeld and Sabrina Lam assessed the 30 U.S. banks with the highest uninsured deposit percentages, relying on data from S&P Global.
After SVB, BNY Mellon (92 percent) and State Street Bank (91.2 percent) were on the list.
Some of the biggest names also made the list, including Citibank (73.7 percent), CIBC (73.1 percent), US Bank (51.4 percent), and Goldman Sachs (47.6 percent).
