Bernie Sanders’s message of big government, free stuff for all and socializing everything isn’t just resonating with millennials, it’s also being celebrated by socialists around the world.
Speaking at a Caracas commemoration of “Anti-Imperialism Day” this week, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro praised the 2016 United States presidential candidate by calling the Vermont Senator “an emerging candidate with a renovating and revolutionary message.”
Maduro added that Sanders comes from a modest background by noting that Sanders is a son of Jewish immigrants and was raised in Brooklyn.
Well, if the Sanders campaign wants to put the final nail in the coffin of the U.S. then all he has to do is replicate the policies of Venezuela, the so-called socialist paradise that is experiencing rampant inflation, widespread shortages and mass suffering.
In the same speech, Maduro slammed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He went as far as accusing her of plotting to oust for Honduras President Manuel Zelaya in 2009.
“She is part of the Clinton clan, an accomplice of all these policies against Venezuela. Too arrogant, I have to say it, [she is] too arrogant,” Maduro stated. “That was Obama’s debut. There are emails that prove what Clinton did.”
This comes as a video surfaced of Bernie Sanders complimenting ex-Cuban leader Fidel Castro. The video can be seen embedded below.

Sanders pointed out tthat the US policy on Cuba was flawed, As was its policy on Nicaragua and, more recently, Venezuela. The last ‘coup’ it backed in Honduras was not the beacon of light it was cracked-up, or even intended, to be. Bernie Sanders said that Castro had “changed Cuba” in terms of health care and education (which might explain why tthe Cubans didn’t ‘rise up’ and overthrow him for America). . That’s stating a fact, not paying a compliment.
